My Project

One thing I love about the district I work for is its diversity. Students come from all types of different backgrounds which helps to create a rich learning environment. The learning environment is made up of what I bring as the teacher, what the students bring, and a well thought out physical space.

This project would help maximize the space within our classroom in order to create independent student learning centers.

Our current tables take up a lot of space and do not leave a lot of room for students to be able to navigate their environment with ease. Smaller tables will allow for easier access to learning spaces and allow me to create more opportunities for students to grow by making educational centers throughout the class to support learning objectives.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
