Each student was given a cushion for their chairs! This encourages each student to want to be at their desks working! Furthermore, the students are using the magnet cubes and blocks during their soft start in the mornings. They have expressed how much they appreciate the new tools that give their brains a productive break. Our new rug is a place where students like to sit during independent time on the new bean bag chair. Each item that we received is used on a daily basis! \r\n\r\nMy students were ecstatic when we opened the packages, they couldn't believe that someone would do such a kind thing for us! They have been asking me how they can thank the person(s) who did this for us, and they are so excited to get the chance! \r\n\r\nAs a newer teacher, I have learned and experienced a safe environment for learning, and even having chairs that are comfortable or just items that let the creative side of students' brains come out have a huge impact! The students love to use the items when they are reading or working on a project with a partner!
