We now have enough air dry clay to support over 500 students this year. With your generosity the 5th graders at West Side are now able to make Tic Tac Toe boards for their final art project. The 2nd and 3rd graders will be able to now create animals out of pinch pots. 1st graders will be able to make monster bowls and kindergarteners will be able to make a beehive out of a coil pot. Finally 4th graders will be able to explore their ideas with tic tac toe boards at the end of the school year. Thank you again for making this wish come true.","fullyFundedDate":1763235215848,"projectUrl":"project/clay-nation/9825040/","projectTitle":"Clay Nation","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Peterson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8488650"},{"teacherId":8488650,"projectId":9306041,"letterContent":"Thank you for the generous donations towards my students at Washakie County School District #1. These students can now explore and expand their imaginations. Their creative possibilities are limitless. The students are able to have a complete set of watercolors and are not limited to certain colors. They can also explore the world of texture and the designs found around the world. The sharpies will allow the students to bring bold contrast to their artwork. They will bring life and character to the designs of these amazing students. You have brought smiles to so many faces. When they walked into their classroom and saw the air-dry clay they cheered for joy because this is their favorite art material to work with. My art students absolutely love working with air-dry clay. \r\n This year the students will use this clay to make coil pots, hanging tiles, beehives, and monster bowls for the first time. They will also learn how to score, slip, and stick the clay so they can attach details to their pots. They were able to create pots to hold jewelry, presents, mugs, monsters, and so much more because of your donations.
