My students love grabbing a book and curling up in a chair to practice sounding out words and reading with expression. Having a dedicated, inviting space has encouraged them to stay focused longer and has built even more excitement around learning to read.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue growing as confident readers—working on blending sounds, recognizing sight words, and building fluency. The Reading Corner gives my students a safe, joyful place to practice these skills every day, and it's helping them see reading not just as work, but as something fun they want to do.","fullyFundedDate":1753402204554,"projectUrl":"project/first-year-teacher-reading-corner/9479307/","projectTitle":"First Year Teacher - Reading Corner","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Merlino","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10084483"},{"teacherId":8343890,"projectId":8977208,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity.
