We are currently using them with our phonics program. First grade students have a HUGE amount of phonics skills to learn to read and utilize in their writing. This is no easy task. Being able to use sound tiles that match the phonics sounds we have been learning has been amazing. Not only do the students love to use them, but I have seen a tremendous change in their spelling and reading.\r\n\r\nThe students were so impressed when they saw these brand new boards that were donated just for them. They treat them with the upmost respect and are able to say it's because they know how lucky they are that someone was willing to help provide this material to them. \r\n\r\nThese boards will continue to be used multiple times a week all year. I know the next group of students will be just as excited and grateful to be able to use them as well. I can't thank you enough for your donation.
