Your donations have helped my students be engaged in their 2026-2027 goal development. They have been able to utilize the chalk sticks and construction paper to draw out their goals and what they envision for their school year. This has made the goal development process exciting by giving the students control of what they want their goals to look like, using new materials to sketch it out, and sharing their goals by hanging up their pictures in my office as a reminder. \r\n\r\nMy students are excited to work towards the prizes that you donated to my classroom. They were excited to see new items added and especially love the new pens. \r\n\r\nI have already used several of the items to help my students grades 4K- 8th grade regulate throughout the building. We have used the board boaks, play-doh, and calming strips. I have gone to three different classrooms (kindergarten and second grade) to give a zones of regulation training and have incorporated different calming tools provided to me with the students and appropriate ways to use the items. Because of your donation my students are able to wiggle while they learn and move around the room while we have work time. \r\n\r\nMany of my students have mentioned that read to self time is their favorite because they are able to get cozy with specials chairs while they read. \r\n\r\nWe are able to have the kids spread out during work time thanks to the flexible seating and lap desks. Our students are getting time to learn through play thanks to your generosity. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw our new recess equipment and stem bins they were so excited. They could not wait to use everything. We talked about the generous people who purchased these items and how to use the items with respect so they do not get ruined. \r\n\r\nMost mornings students get 10 minutes to play with stem bins as a soft start to our day. Many kids will say this is their favorite part of the day. I love to see the students enjoy coming to school and learn to play nice with their classmates. They don't think they are learning during this time but they are. They are being creative, learning to share, and play with others. They are learning how to build things and be creative.
