As a high school teacher, I see firsthand how difficult it can be for students to concentrate, participate, and stay motivated when they haven't had enough to eat. Many of my students come to school without breakfast, while others may not have access to snacks throughout the day. My goal is to create a welcoming classroom where every student feels supported, valued, and ready to learn. Having healthy snacks available can make a meaningful difference in their ability to focus and succeed academically.\r\n\r\nThrough my DonorsChoose project, \"Hunger Pangs,\" I am requesting support to provide snacks for students who need a little extra nourishment during the school day. Something as simple as a granola bar, crackers, or fruit snack can help a student get through a difficult morning or afternoon. Beyond satisfying hunger, these snacks communicate an important message: someone cares about their well-being.
