I teach both English learning Spanish speakers and Spanish learning English speakers, and the markers allow them to participate in dynamic activities. For instance, we've been using them to play a game where students pair up, with one student drawing a concept (like \"el perro\" or \"the dog\") on the whiteboard while the other narrates the action or labels the drawing in the target language. This is a high-energy, low-stress way for them to practice vocabulary and grammar. The markers have transformed the plain whiteboards into canvases for collaborative learning, making the languages come alive!\r\n\r\nThe pencils are simply essential. Many of my students don't have the resources for basic supplies, and having a ready supply of pencils ensures that no one misses out on note-taking, practice exercises, or creative writing assignments.\r\n\r\nPerhaps most critically, the snacks are a true blessing. Many high school students get hungry throughout the day. As you can imagine, it's nearly impossible to focus on a challenging language lesson when your stomach is rumbling.
