Instead of working in isolation, students now gather around the table to work through problems.\r\n\r\nRecently a few students were working on finding slope. We worked together on the table and students helped each other. When they felt successful they then took a picture of their work on their ipad to use later when needed on their own!\r\n\r\nWhen the students first walked in and saw the new table, there was an immediate buzz of excitement. One student asked, \"Wait, we're actually allowed to write on the table?\" That initial \"novelty\" quickly turned into a boost in confidence. Students who usually hesitate to show their work were suddenly filling the table with math and their ideas.\r\n\r\nThank you for brining excitement and joy to our math classroom!
