Thanks to your donation, we are now able to incorporate productive and appropriate movement into our daily learning environment. The wobble stools and the fidget desk bands provide subtle movement that supports focus and a quiet, unobtrusive way to stay regulated during instruction.\r\n\r\nStudents who previously struggled to sit still for extended periods are now able to channel their energy in ways that enhance rather than disrupt learning. So many families do not have rich literature in their homes. They are beyond excited to have a book they can call their own, and most of all, it's in their home language.\r\n\r\nIn addition, we are using the whole class books to support the SEL curriculum, but this time they can understand, because it is in Spanish. We are beyond fortunate to have such caring community members who support the bilingual mission.\r\n\r\nI wanted to share a personal story. One student who had the opportunity to pick out her free book for home had the biggest grin on her face. She said, this will be perfect to read to my little sister!
