Having this new equipment in our rooms has completely changed what we are able to do with our students and opened up a ton of project opportunities for us to use in the future.\r\n\r\nWhen the delivery boxes finally arrived, the kids were practically bouncing off the walls. Unpacking everything was a fun surprise for the students and staff—seeing the Bambu P1S 3D printers, the microscopes, headsets, and lab supplies laid out made it real for them. For many of my middle schoolers, this is the first time they've ever had access to this level of tech, and their enthusiasm was instant.\r\n\r\nHere is a quick look at how your generosity is directly impacting our classroom:\r\n3D Printing & Building: The Bambu printers have been running constantly. Students design models on their screens and watch them print layer by layer, while using the new cordless cutters and STEM kits to build cardboard prototypes during engineering challenges, including our cardboard arcade festival and annual cardboard boat challenge.\r\n\r\nHands-On Science: The rubber aprons and electronic balances have leveled up our wet labs and dissections. Having both stereo microscopes and LCD digital microscopes means students aren't just taking turns peeking through a lens—they can project biological samples or 3D print layer structures onto a screen to inspect and analyze them individually or in small groups. Our principal walked in during one of the labs and was blown away by the quality of the LCD screen and how engaged the students were.\r\n\r\nTech & Esports: The gaming headsets and Switch 2 Pro controllers are huge for our video game design class and esports teams. As a massive bonus, our middle school esports team—who went undefeated last year and brought home a state championship—is already getting incredible use out of the new controllers!\r\n\r\nWhen you support a project like this, you aren't just buying random equipment. You are telling the students, staff members, and the entire community of Sturgeon Bay that their ideas, creativity, and futures matter. You've given them a space where they can experiment, fail without fear, redesign, and see themselves as real engineers and scientists.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our kids and our school. We are so grateful for your support!\r\n\r\nThank you,\r\n\r\nStephen Jacobson\r\n\r\nProfessional Educator\r\n\r\nTJ Walker Middle School | Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin","fullyFundedDate":1776085860669,"projectUrl":"project/tjw-stem-initiative/10116495/","projectTitle":"TJW S.T.E.M.
