When arriving at my school my classroom didn't have any options for differentiated learning opportunities. The desk that was donated to my room allows for my diverse learner to choose a learning option that will help support their focus and attention. \r\n\r\nThe standing desk has allowed a safe and undisruptive way for students who seek movement to do so while continuing to do their learning. This desks allows students an opportunity to choose the best desk to support their learning, many students prefer to stand or other alternative spaces to work independently and in small groups. \r\n\r\nThe sensory items that were received; the breathing rainbow and thinking putty were both useful tools to add to my calming corner.
