We did a partner activity where one student had to give verbal directions to their partner to build a LEGO model—without showing the picture or giving any visual clues. The other student had to follow the directions and try to recreate the model just by listening. It was incredible to watch the students light up as they took on leadership roles, used precise vocabulary, and clarified instructions.
