The materials you provided have made a meaningful impact in my classroom by giving my students more choices for how they can safely regulate their bodies and prepare themselves for learning. The crash pad, hug chair, seat cushions, and flexible seating options have created a comfortable and supportive environment where students can find what works best for them.\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were so excited to explore them! They immediately wanted to try the different seating options, and the crash pad quickly became a favorite. It has been wonderful to see students begin to recognize when their bodies need movement, pressure, or a different type of seating and then use these resources to help themselves become regulated.\r\nMoving forward, we will continue practicing how to use these materials appropriately as part of our daily classroom routines. We are working on helping students recognize their emotions and body signals, choose a strategy or seating option that helps them regulate, and then return to their learning activities ready to participate. These resources are helping my students develop independence and self-regulation skills that they can use throughout their school day.\r\nThank you for helping me create a classroom where my students have the tools, choices, and support they need to feel comfortable, regulated, and ready to learn!","fullyFundedDate":1780430408895,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-options/10302229/","projectTitle":"Flexible seating options","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hopper","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10516823_orig.jpg?crop=432,432,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1779392570360","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10516823"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_38220","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":284,"numTeachers":28,"percentFrplEligible":87,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":4,"percentWhite":55,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":29,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":9,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"10.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":69.6,"schoolId":38220,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lincoln Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Lincoln Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/wisconsin/school-district-of-janesville/lincoln-elementary-school/38220"}
