Thanks to your help, I was able to add so many books to my classroom library. My students read for at least 20 minutes each day, and even though we have a school library, there is a high need for them to have books with use without needing to go there. \r\n\r\nA handful of the books that were donated to my classroom are nonfiction picture books. These are books that are illustrated to attract young children, but tell real facts. One of our favorites is \"The Great Stink\" by Colleen Paeff. This tells the story of how the modern sewage system was created. Students find the topic fascinating and the dated pages help them understand the facts and details. \r\n\r\nAll of my students were thrilled when I announced that we were going to receive new books. They really love to read and take great care of their materials. Your donation has gone a long way!
