First off - We've been able to get even the Algebra 1 students I have this year comfortable with using the graphing calculators and they are so excited about them. \r\n\r\nStudent A \"YOU CAN CHANGE IT BACK TO A FRACTION!!!!\" This is so cool. \r\n\r\nStudent B - The sto button is GOATed - (because I showed them it will save your negative so you don't forget to put it in perentesis) \r\n\r\nSecondly you've saved so much wasted time when students have forgotten their personal calculator at home or in their locker. Students in my class know they can go to the calculator holder and just use it as a basic calculator as well when this happens and they don't have to use their passes to go get it. - Keeping them in the classroom for more of the instructional time :) \r\n\r\nThirdly: We got all the calculators bar coded through the library too, so students have been able to check them out and take them home for the weekend to help them study as well.
