They instantly were giving me ideas about how we could use all of them. It brought me so much joy to see them excited to learn with these new tools.\r\n\r\nCurrently we are utilizing the Legos and the markers most often. The Legos are used in their STEM bins, which they love to build with, but I also utilize them during lessons for teaching certain concepts, such as building a structure for a Science unit or as hands-on models for Math. The dry-erase markers and the colored markers are utilized almost daily, being used for group work at the carpet or creating posters, typically for Literacy or Social Studies. Certain items, like the solar-powered cars or the owl pellet kit are being saved until we reach that unit in the upcoming months, but the students are very excited to use them soon!\r\n\r\nWe have many units coming up in the next months that will depend on the materials we received in order to create engaging lessons that encourage the students to learn and practice what is being taught.
