The students have appreciated having a homey area to hang out, kick back, study for quizzes/tests, and just read books. They love the cozy food blankets and often race to class to get one first.\r\nKeeping the area tidy and picked up adds to the depth of skills we teach in fcs. Kids are expected to keep the blankets folded up when not in use and the space clean and free from clutter.\r\nTo many, this might seem silly in a classroom but it has been fun seeing my students interact and connect with classmates they don't typical hang with or seeing my readers cozied up in a chair enjoying some free reading time. When this item was then also backordered, I switched gears again and purchased a few more waders for my environmental science class! \r\n\r\nMy students are thrilled to be able to get out into the water where we sample for macroinvertebrates and run several water quality tests such as pH, hardness, alkalinity, etc. These tests allow us to get a full picture of the quality of the several different water bodies that we sample every year. \r\n\r\nIt is great to be able to get my students good gear; high quality waders keep them dry and productive during class time, and they get to enjoy the great outdoors for several class periods.
