With the help of this project, I do believe, that we have been able to keep on top of the spread of illness. Though colds and flu are inevitable, we have been able to maintain a healthy classroom thus far which, in turn, boosts daily student attendance! Student attendance is critical for learning and growing :)\r\n\r\nOur brand new white board erasers have been on my \"wish-list\" for a few years now. The ones given to me upon my first grade arrival (10 years ago) have been graciously donated to other teachers in need. My students love to utilize white boards and supplies not only for learning opportunities, but also for fun! You will find a large portion of my class participating in \"school\" during our free-choice Fridays! They enjoy giving each other math problems and writing homework during this creative play time.\r\n\r\nThe impact of these items goes much further than my current classroom.
