From the books we were given, we were able to have meaningful discussions about various parts of our identities and the way our identities interact with those of our coworkers and staff.\r\n\r\nIn addition to the work with staff, I have been able to use some of the books in book clubs with my fifth grade students. We use the books to scaffold timely conversations about self-esteem and body image.
