Many of my students are struggling to stay active while learning at home. They simply don't have enough options while away from school and often end up spending their free time playing video games or watching videos on their Chromebooks instead of moving their bodies. Many of their families struggle to provide a selection of filling snacks due to financial constraints. With the snacks and games provided, my students will be able to make healthier choices while at home. This project takes the financial strain of providing healthy choices off of families. Students will have options that help them move their bodies readily accessible and will have snack choices that keep them full. Part of this project involves educating students on the importance of being active while providing them with food that will give them the energy they need to complete their work and be successful during virtual learning.
