This is a great asset to their learning and has already made a difference in their education. \r\n\r\nStudents utilize a program called Read 180. This program is a literacy program that places them where they are academically and gives them an opportunity to listen, read, and write using the skills they have learned in class and while using the program. The ability to hear it independently and not have to worry about hearing your neighbor or your neighbors voice getting picked up instead of your own has made a world of a difference. \r\n\r\nThank you for removing the barriers from families as well as myself in order to help the students in our classroom be successful. They now understand that they should not feel sorry for those that are deaf or hard of hearing. Students have memories from fourth grade as well as a book to read during the summer. The great part about reading is that if you have a book you enjoy reading, you can read it multiple times.
