Thanks to your generous donations, we have been able to allow our learners to explain and demonstrate all they learned during our experiential learning opportunities (ELOs) in a fun and creative way.\r\n\r\nWe taught students how to use public transportation as a means to explore and learn from all of the wonderful places available to them within the city of Milwaukee. Learners were able to visit the Urban Ecology Center, where they learned about invasive species, the forest biome, and many different types of fungi. Some of our learners even got to see a white-tailed deer live for the very first time. We also visited the Domes, Bradford Beach, and UWM's campus. Students have really enjoyed these experiences and learned a great deal.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generous donation, our learners were able to demonstrate their learning in fun and engaging ways. Students utilized materials purchased to create flip books, tri-fold poster boards, infographics, ABC books, and various other projects.
