The snacks and materials that were purchased with your kind donation were able to provide nutritious food to students who were hungry, provided incentive to participate for games and activities in the classroom as well as made classroom routines easy to follow. \r\nWhen my students saw me unpacking the boxes, they were truly amazed that people were so generous and saw the impact of how reaching out for help can truly pay off. Students were respectful of the food and materials recognizing that it was a gift and should go to students who really needed it, who participated in class and added ease to the activities we do on the whiteboard. \r\nWe are just finishing up with the candy and snacks, it should last until the end of the school year and it has been a real blessing to have the support of individuals who recognize public education can be challenging but worth the investment.
