This gift is very special because it is a learning tool for my group of 20 phonics students this year, and every student I will encounter for years to come.\r\n When my students unboxed these dictionaries there was incredible excitement throughout the room. Dictionaries? Yes! they were so, very excited to receive something new, unused, and just for them and their learning experience. It was an incredible sight to behold.\r\n We are all very thankful and grateful for your thoughtfulness and generosity. I look forward to watching my students continue to explore the wonder of words through the use of these dictionaries.\r\nThank you, \r\nMrs. Becker and my class of Word Wizards","fullyFundedDate":1756294735781,"projectUrl":"project/dictionary-dynamos/9302690/","projectTitle":"Dictionary Dynamos!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Becker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6804473_orig.jpg?crop=1653,1654,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1567803186222","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6804473"},{"teacherId":8154026,"projectId":9197227,"letterContent":"My students were beyond excited when I told them about the materials that were donated to us! After a long week, they were so excited to go on an adventure! There were enough binoculars for every child (several kids were missing), and each child got the color he/she wanted. It was a beautiful September day with all students in tow when we marched out the school doors to take a nature walk. \r\n\r\nThe kids right away started to use their binoculars, crouching low and looking far into the distance. We walked the entire perimeter of the school, fully enjoying the day and the tools you donated to us! They love using the magnifying glasses to observe ant hills (which we have SO many of), and the binoculars to observe butterflies and birds. The animal tracking game is a new favorite of my class as well as another one! \r\n\r\nI have a few photos I'd love to share of my little ones using the binoculars. THANK YOU for making this possible. This will not be the last time we use them, and I can see these tools being used in conjunction with science lessons for many years to come and multiple classes.","fullyFundedDate":1746785302013,"projectUrl":"project/wilderness-explorers/9197227/","projectTitle":"Wilderness Explorers!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mueller","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8154026_orig.png?crop=271,271,x30,y4&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1742271874109","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8154026"},{"teacherId":8154026,"projectId":9180106,"letterContent":"I wanted to reach out and express my appreciation for the learning tools you provided for my class. We have used every single thing! The math tools are so excellent and I am looking forward to using them again and again, for each first grade class that comes through my doors. \r\n\r\n The little whiteboard paddle boards were perfect for math class, small enough to distribute quickly, but large enough to write equations and answers. They allowed for quick engagement for my students. \r\n\r\nMy students LOVED the balance monster from Number Blocks! I look forward to using this in conjunction with lessons and watching my students pick up the concepts so much quicker. \r\n\r\n The hundreds pocket chart was exactly what was needed and can be displayed in the room all year long. The kids were very pleased with this visual and were able to come up and interact with it when needed. It helped some of my struggling students understand assignments more easily than before. \r\n\r\n The number stax are simply ideal for teaching number sense and how numbers interact together. They are such a perfect way for students to visualize that 8 and 2 make ten, as well as 5 and 5. \r\n\r\nThese materials have been so helpful for my class! As I look towards another school year, I anticipate using them again and again. Your donation has helped to aid the learning of first graders for the next several years. I plan to use these to help all learners, especially struggling ones, to better understand math and not give up. My hope is they will grow to become confident learners and enjoy math and learning as they grow into adults. \r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible.","fullyFundedDate":1742502748864,"projectUrl":"project/mathematicians-and-scientists-unite-han/9180106/","projectTitle":"Mathematicians and Scientists Unite!
