When one of my youngest learners saw how one of our sections was remodelled after our book bins arrived, he looked at me and said, \"Wow, it looks brand new! Can I go book shopping every day?\"\r\n\r\nIn pictures, the bins seem like a subtle change: a little more color on the shelves, an easier way to see which books in a series are available, and softcover books protected from being lost among the sturdier hardcovers. While it looks humble in an image, this change has allowed my students to grow more independent in navigating the library and has allowed me to better display our collection. The result? Our circulation numbers (aka how many books are checked out) are higher than they have been in the year. Since this is my first year working in this building, that's a testament to how crucial school libraries are to growing our next generation of leaders. \r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my students, thank you for your generosity and support of our program. I hope you all find something that makes you as excited as a student on book shopping day.","fullyFundedDate":1765977485307,"projectUrl":"project/show-shelf-control/9597629/","projectTitle":"Show Shelf Control!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Horejs","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7260021_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755205636962","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-sloan-scholars"},{"teacherId":10192758,"projectId":9632696,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, our small-group math time has become more engaging and supportive for all learners.
