My 3rd graders are learning how to use scientific materials as a project to enhance their understanding of how the world of water, forces, and motions occur in the world we live in. The Meet the Standards Hands-on Science kits will help my students to become more confident in using their hands in learning how things work. The Hand2Mind Magnetic Science Kits with Fact-filled Guides will give a deeper understanding of scientific things to do with the hands, with sharing projects to show in our classroom science fair that is being organized for the students. The Learning Resources Cross Animal Cell Models for Classroom Teaching will aid the students in being able to understand how cells play a part in all plants and animals. The Carson Workbooks for Practicing Cursive Writing will enhance each students writing skills. The Big Science School Zone Workbooks will be used as a resource to share with my students and colleagues. Many of my students are very artistic with projects, they are able to express their own understanding of the world of science. Many of them have great skills in developing new things to create. I would like things that will challenge their skills in showing how to be a team player with other students. Hands-on things will be exciting and fun for them.
