We have had similar items in the past and the kids were excited to see them return to enjoy. These extra items added to our outdoor play area allows the children to strengthen multiple areas of development at once, which directly improves the learning environment. It supports self-regulation and behavior, physical development, builds social skills and cooperation, increases language development and boosts creativity and confidence.\r\n It supports self-regulation and behavior by providing children with opportunities to move their bodies in purposeful, imaginative ways. This outlet allows them ways to manage energy levels and emotions. Pretend play naturally requires communication, turn-taking, and negotiation. Kids learn how to share ideas, listen to others, and solve small conflicts all while playing. They are able to act out stories and use their imagination and explore.\r\n In any playground or early childhood classroom, this kind of play isn't extra—it's a powerful tool that helps create a more engaged, regulated, and socially connected group of learners. We look forward to many fun-filled days of pretend play and physical movement with our new outdoor play equipment.
