These items are a great tool to use during my ELA center time. \r\n\r\nWhen I introduced these phonics materials to my students they were very excited to use them. My students found them fun, interactive, and helpful to their learning. These items help to break the monotonous paper/ pencil routine. Anything hands on is so impactful to their interest and if you can catch their interest, the learning will follow. Getting them excited and interested in reading is a huge feat in itself. \r\n\r\nI will continue to use these materials in my ELA centers and especially with my students that are struggling. These hands on activities are a great tool and I will use them often. Phonics is so important especially in 1st grade where there is so much growth with phonics skills and reading ability. If I can find anything that supports reading skills, I will try my best to provide that for my students.
