These are game changers! There is no way I could have gotten enough of them without your help!\r\n\r\nWe've been using the Wibble Wobble feet on students' chairs during independent work time, large group instruction, and even during testing. They are on the student's chairs all the time. A particular situation occurred during our district testing time when a student who normally struggles with focus was able to sit through an entire 20-minute assessment without needing a break, simply because he could quietly fidget in his seat. The improvement in focus and engagement for the whole class has been incredible.\r\n\r\nThe students were so excited to try these out! Some were curious and immediately wanted to try them, while others were fascinated by how they worked. There was a mix of giggles and wide eyes at first, but once we explained their purpose, students quickly took to using them appropriately. It was a fun and positive introduction to a tool that really helps them.\r\n\r\nRight now, we're working on building stamina and independence during our literacy centers and intervention times when students need to be at their desks for longer periods of time. The Wibble Wobble feet are helping students stay regulated and focused so they can dive deeper into their work. Our next step is incorporating more peer collaboration activities, and these tools are making it easier for students to remain engaged and respectful of each other's space and needs while working in small groups.","fullyFundedDate":1742935443504,"projectUrl":"project/boosting-focus-a-project-for-active-fir/9136484/","projectTitle":"Boosting Focus: A Project For Active First Graders","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Butscher","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7817633_orig.jpg?crop=480,480,x0,y80&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741452099816","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7817633"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_55698","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":499,"numTeachers":36,"percentFrplEligible":12,"percentAsian":6,"percentBlack":2,"percentWhite":82,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"13.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":79.3,"schoolId":55698,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Woodside Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Woodside Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/wisconsin/hamilton-school-district/woodside-elementary-school/55698"}
