A third student eagerly explored the Ten Frame set, practicing addition and subtraction in a way that finally \"clicked.\" These moments were filled with joy, pride, and a true sense of accomplishment.\r\nWe are now using these manipulatives daily in our math lessons. During small-group instruction, students model addition and subtraction, match numbers to quantities, and practice problem-solving strategies. Having these hands-on tools has allowed my students to grasp concepts that once felt overwhelming, transforming math into an engaging and accessible experience.\r\nThe next step is to connect these skills to real-world applications. For example, students will use coins in life skills lessons to practice shopping and money management.
