Thanks to your donation, students have been able to learn about sustainable agriculture practices and have started growing their own crops. All 6th grade students have the opportunity to plan a small indoor garden and choose where and how to plant the plants. They learn about growing media, plant requirements and appropriate spacing of crops. \r\nThe students truly light up when the see the supplies and get to dive in and get dirty while making their own decisions and plan their gardens.
