Your support provides essential materials that allow our students to explore handbuilding and glazing techniques, strengthen their craftsmanship, and fully engage in the creative process throughout the semester. Access to quality materials makes a meaningful difference in both the learning experience and the final outcomes of their work.\r\n\r\nIn addition to daily classroom projects, these donated materials will be used to create pieces for our annual Arts and Education Night. This special K–12 community event features a student art show, student-created artwork for sale, a music concert, food provided by FFA, and content-area displays that highlight the incredible learning happening across our school. It is truly a celebration of Arts & Education and the role they play in shaping confident, creative learners.\r\n\r\nYour investment in our students helps make these opportunities possible and strengthens the connection between our schools and the community. So far, the students have been utilizing the new equipment almost every day this summer. The new equipment allows students to work on assisted pull-ups (resistance bands), the knee pads have been used for rehabilitation exercises for students with injuries, and the wrist wraps have come in handy for students wanting a challenge with heavier weight!\r\n\r\nIt was such an awesome feeling when the students walked into the weight room and they were blown away. Most reactions including statements like \"No way! Who bought these\". It just goes to show how much it means to them. Again I can't thank you enough and I can't wait to incorporate more of the materials in the upcoming school year.","fullyFundedDate":1746785588050,"projectUrl":"project/fitness-students-need-essentials/9131975/","projectTitle":"Fitness Students Need Essentials!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Lietz","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9931814"},{"teacherId":9929500,"projectId":9190800,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for sponsoring this project. The welding jackets are greatly appreciated as our old jackets were getting rough and we didn't have much for smaller sizes. Every year I introduce the Middle School students to different areas of the welding shop and making sure they are safe is paramount. Having well-fitting jackets with no broken buttons or loose sleeves helps with that.\r\nWe all enjoy something new, and these jackets are a great example of that. The students did their best to make sure they got a new jacket in their size before we ran out. Luckily, the sizing worked out perfectly and everyone had a fitting jacket. We will be wearing these jackets for years and classes to come. \r\nThe trades are becoming more important in our area as more and more people retire. By introducing welding to as many students as possible, there will be a greater probability of students moving on in that career field. My hope is that this is the first step in some successful careers down the road.","fullyFundedDate":1742953067674,"projectUrl":"project/welding-fundamentals-and-safety/9190800/","projectTitle":"Welding Fundamentals and Safety","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Herrmann","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9929500"},{"teacherId":4298359,"projectId":9112290,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donation to the new electric pressure canner at De Soto High School.
