This was a very special project to me because it's extremely important to me to have a space for my students that can help them feel safe and calm, especially considering this room becomes like a home to students during the school year. \r\n\r\nAs a first year teacher, I wasn't sure how I was going to fund a classroom space that gave students the tools to help regulate their emotions. Already, these items have made a difference in my classroom. My students were so excited and asked many questions when they saw the new posters and signs in the room to help name their feelings and strategies to calm down. The fidgets get daily use. The clay will be used in an upcoming project that I know students will feel excited doing. \r\n\r\nThank you, again, for your financial donation to my classroom.
