They have used them during indoor recess and free choice time. They are learning to work together and share as they create. \r\n\r\nI am so grateful to have the noise cancelling headphones. I used to only have a couple of pairs but now having more allows more students to feel safe and calm. The classroom can be overstimulating for many students. It is great to have these headphones for students to use whenever they need.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe weighted elephant stuffed animal is a wonderful addition to our cozy calm corner. The students who have used it like the comfort that it brings them.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe colors of the world coloring supplies have already been put to use anytime the students are drawing themselves or other people. It's nice to have many skin colors so students can color themselves accurately when they wish.\r\n\r\n\r\nThe worry stone set has been a supportive tool for students who need a fidget. I like that they are quiet and subtle.\r\n\r\nI have not needed the chew necklaces yet but have had many students in the past who benefit from chewing or having something appropriate in their mouths. I feel grateful that I am now prepared for those students in the future.\r\n\r\n\r\nLastly, my students love having access to ice packs right in our classroom. The school nurse runs out so quickly with different injuries and headaches. Students also don't need to leave the room and miss learning if they have a small reason for needing an ice pack.\r\n\r\nMy students and I are so appreciative for all of these items. We can't thank you enough for considering our classroom and donating to our project. It is helping my students learn how to set up their paper correctly when writing. It also has been helping us organize how we write paragraphs and letters.\r\n\r\nWe are using the suction cup spinners for math games as a class and the kids are loving how interactive it is! I appreciate that we don't always have to pull up a digital spinner or create ones with paperclips.\r\n\r\nThe kids are absolutely loving the green floor cushions. They can sit on the floor to read and do work with partners so comfortably. It's great for allowing kids to work throughout the room without everyone fighting over the 2 bean bag chairs we have.\r\n\r\nThe adhesive magnetic dots are being used all over the classroom to easily hang up charts, vocabulary cards and posters! I love how accessible all of our content is now. I can move things around without having to remove and set up magnets.\r\n\r\nThe cubby storage is the item I cherish most. Prior to having that I was battling older furniture that couldn't support the items I needed it too. The cubby unit is strong and will not be falling apart any time soon. This cubby system has allowed our classroom to have easy access to materials in an organized way.\r\n\r\nMy students and I are so appreciative for all of these items. We can't thank you enough for considering our classroom and donating to our project.
