We just completed our first semester for the year and the end of the semester survey came in. All of my students commented that I should do more book clubs next semester :) Seeing students engaged, discussing books was the highlight of my year so far. \r\n\r\nStudents were given 8 different book titles to choose from thanks to your generous donations. Because students were given choices, they were engaged and motivated to complete their reading each week. When students are engaged and excited to read, they then can work on the skills they need to be successful.
