Students worked collaboratively to design, build, and program their robot to complete mission challenges, developing coding skills, engineering design strategies, and strong teamwork habits. Watching them troubleshoot, revise their code, and encourage one another during practice was a powerful reminder of how much they were growing—not just technically, but as leaders and teammates.\r\n\r\nWhen students first opened the SPIKE Prime kits, their excitement was immediate. They were eager to get started and quickly took ownership of their roles, whether in building, programming, or strategy. Their dedication and positive team culture stood out all season, culminating in winning a Sportsmanship Award at the regional competition. The recognition meant a great deal to them and reflected the character and collaboration they demonstrated throughout the experience.\r\n\r\nNext year, we plan to build on this foundation by refining our designs, strengthening coding skills, and welcoming new students to the team.
