Now, our morning meetings, read-alouds, and small group lessons feel more connected and comfortable. The rugs have transformed our classroom into a true community space where students feel at ease to share ideas and participate.\r\n\r\nThe new rugs have also made a big difference during reading and independent work time. Students love finding their own cozy corner to read, collaborate, or reflect. It's amazing how something as simple as a rug can make the classroom feel like home—and help students focus and engage in their learning.\r\n\r\nYour support has brought warmth, comfort, and a sense of belonging to our classroom. Because of your kindness, my 3rd and 4th graders now have a wonderful collection of novels that are helping them grow as readers, thinkers, and collaborators.\r\n\r\nWhen the box of books arrived, the excitement in the room was contagious. Students eagerly helped unpack the novels, and many immediately started reading right on the rug. For several of them, this was the first time they had access to high-interest chapter books that matched both their reading levels and their curiosity.\r\n\r\nThese novels have transformed our reading block. Students are now engaged in meaningful discussions during literature circles, making text-to-self connections, and challenging themselves with longer, more complex stories. The shared reading experiences have also strengthened our classroom community—students love recommending books to one another and celebrating each other's progress.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made it possible for every child in our mixed-grade classroom to feel included and inspired as a reader. You've helped build not just literacy skills, but also confidence and a lifelong love of reading.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and investing in their futures.","fullyFundedDate":1747150750278,"projectUrl":"project/reading-stars/9314018/","projectTitle":"Reading Stars","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. C.
