My students LOVE the elliptical machines! When I first brought them in, they were instantly intrigued and couldn't wait for their turn to use one. I used them strategically for the students that I knew would benefit the most from the movement during instructional times. We take several brain breaks throughout the day, but those don't necessarily help students focus during the times they should be focused on the teacher. With the elliptical machines, students have a way to keep moving in a way that is not disruptive to their peers.\r\n In speaking with my students, they told me they don't like them, they LOVE them! The ellipticals help them stay focused and move when they can't be out of their seats.
