My students love working with the Maledo tools! We've found that cardboard boxes are abundant at the school, so having enough materials is not an issue. Our biggest problem now is having enough time to build everything we want to during STEAM time!\r\n\r\nIt's been a surprise how much we use the Makedo tools since they've arrived. An initial safety and how to lesson was all it took, and now even my youngest students are finding ways to use the tools during engineering projects. The tools are handy, well made, and easy to use. The rechargeable batteries have been such a lifesaver. We are never without AA and AAA batteries now. Plus, we have cut back on waste, which is great for our planet!\r\n\r\nIt's a small thing, but having these batteries is so incredibly helpful. My 1st graders have been learning about light and shadows. Keeping 25 flashlights powered is usually rather expensive. But not this year, thanks to you and your generosity! As my older student enter a unit on electricity after spring break, I know we will continue to put the batteries to good use.
