Your support is already making a meaningful difference in our learning environment.\r\n\r\nMany of my students are multilingual learners who face the daily challenge of navigating content in a second language. The translating pens are empowering these students to access reading materials more independently, building both their confidence and comprehension skills. It's inspiring to see their faces light up when they can understand a text on their own or look up a word without feeling singled out.\r\n\r\nThe Spanish-language novels have opened new doors for both engagement and inclusion. Students who are native Spanish speakers now have stories that reflect their language and culture, which validates their experiences and encourages a love of reading. These books have also sparked curiosity among other students who are interested in learning Spanish, creating new opportunities for cross-cultural conversations and empathy.\r\n\r\nYour donation has enriched our classroom in ways that go beyond academic growth. It has helped create a space where all students feel seen, supported, and excited to learn. Afterward, my students guided them in a fun activity where they created fake snow and built marshmallow forts for their snowmen, bringing the book to life in a creative and interactive way. I have three Spanish speaking students in my classroom and we have over eight novels that are taught through our curriculum each school year. Two of my students are exclusive Spanish speaking with limited English knowledge, as they have only been in the United States for six months. We spend most of our 90 minutes each day immersed in our novels and novel studies. \r\n\r\nThe first novel, Bud Not Buddy, in Spanish was the first time this school year that my Spanish speaking students participated in our curriculum to the fullest. Each day when students went to the shelf for their assigned novel, my girls went and grabbed a copy of Me Llamo Bud, No Buddy. These students were able to take an AR quiz for the first time this school year on a book at their level. \r\n\r\nAgain, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
