The book also introduces thoughtful lessons about empathy, problem-solving, teamwork, and caring for the environment. \r\n\r\nIn our classroom, reading is an interactive and fun experience. Students participate in read-alouds, partner discussions, and independent reading time where they can connect personally with the story. It was exciting to see how invested they were in the journey of Roz and the other characters and to provide them with the final adventure to take home and read over the summer.
