We are creating safe spaces for our students to express their feelings and learn how to manage them to get along with others. \r\nThe students have already learned though your donations to share desired items, respond to friends with empathy when they want to join, and take those skills out to the playground, to class, and more. The students absolutely love the blocks! We have used them with our students with autism to recognize feelings, and our students without disabilities to provide opportunities to share. The carrot is used with some of our non verbal students to help improve communication skills.
