We are using the snacks to make sure students have something available during the school day when they are hungry and may not have brought a snack from home. One moment that stood out to me was seeing students able to grab a snack, settle back into class, and continue learning without hunger becoming a distraction. It has helped create a classroom environment where students can focus more fully on their lessons and feel supported throughout the day.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw that we had snacks available for our classroom, they were incredibly excited and grateful. They immediately understood that these snacks were there to help take care of them and keep them fueled for learning. Something as simple as having a snack available can make students feel seen, cared for, and ready to participate.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these snacks throughout our daily lessons, especially during the parts of the day when students need that extra boost of energy and focus. As we continue working through our reading, writing, math, and other classroom projects, having snacks available will help students stay engaged and ready to learn.
