Your support has made a real, everyday difference for my students.\r\n\r\nBecause of your donations, my students are able to enjoy an afternoon snack, which helps them refocus and finish the day strong. They've also been able to use the carpet space to lay down and reset when needed, and the giggly chair has become an important tool for students who need movement to regulate themselves.\r\n\r\nThe roller sweeper has also been a wonderful addition. It has helped students take real responsibility for keeping our classroom clean. They are able to use it independently, and they take pride in cleaning up after themselves. What used to require constant reminders is now something they handle on their own.\r\n\r\nThese supports may seem simple, but they have strengthened our classroom community and improved students' focus and readiness to learn. When students feel comfortable, responsible, and cared for, their learning truly benefits.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our students. Having the flex space comfy seat, my students can sit in front of the board during instructional time more comfortably and motivative to engage for a longer time. The seat cushion has students feel a home environment, given them a sense of security and belonging.\r\n\r\nThe seats also keep my students on task since we rotate turns so that all of them can use them during whole group instruction and small group intervention time in reding and math.\r\n\r\nOur jumbo bean bags in the classroom are my students' favorite. Students love to sit on them and read their books during silent reading time. Students also move them around easily and find their favorite spot in the room, which makes it fun and unique for them.\r\n\r\nThe building connectors are used daily as part of our center time after students complete daily assignments. The building connectors enhance students' fine motor skills, spatial awareness and problem-solving abilities. This time also promotes students' social skills as they work together in their structures during center time.\r\n Thanks so much for the time you invested in reading and supporting our first-grade project.","fullyFundedDate":1764648249262,"projectUrl":"project/epa-epa-learning/9808537/","projectTitle":"Epa Epa Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. A Moreno","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7972747"},{"teacherId":8642377,"projectId":9634786,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity and for investing in our 3rd grade classroom. When my students first saw the donated materials, their excitement was immediate—especially the wobble chairs, snacks, and classroom rewards. Students were eager to try the wobble chairs, and it was amazing to see how quickly they helped improve focus and engagement during lessons. The Expo markers and whiteboards have become a daily staple, allowing students to actively participate, explain their thinking, and stay engaged in math and reading. Even during indoor recess, the puzzles have given students a calm, collaborative option that supports problem-solving and teamwork.\r\nThese resources have already made a meaningful impact beyond my own classroom. The wobble chairs have been shared with other 3rd grade students that come into my classroom during intervention groups, helping even more learners stay focused and comfortable while receiving targeted support. Snacks have been especially helpful during testing days, providing students with the energy and encouragement they need to do their best, and they've also served as positive incentives that motivate hard work and positive behavior.\r\nLooking ahead, we're excited to continue using the craft supplies for upcoming art projects and classroom celebrations, giving students a creative outlet to express themselves. The classroom rewards—like slime, 3D erasers, and squishies—are helping reinforce positive choices and build a supportive classroom community. Because of your kindness, our classroom is a more engaging, welcoming, and student-centered space, and your support is felt every single day. Thank you for giving our students tools that truly make a difference.","fullyFundedDate":1760888780956,"projectUrl":"project/engaged-energized-learning-for-3rd-gra/9634786/","projectTitle":"Engaged & Energized Learning for 3rd Grade Dual Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Aceves","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8642377_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1661458057624","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8642377"},{"teacherId":8928727,"projectId":9273588,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for all the donations. I had my students help me open each of the packages. Their eyes opened up in surprise as they took everything out of the box. Some of them had never opened a package before. \r\nTheir lap desks have been amazing! Kids have choices to use it independently, in small groups, or in a large group. They feel proud to organize their materials on the desk because my classroom only has tables. The water color paper has been a fun way for my students to connect art with their writing. Having a digital pointer for my students has been great because I can use mine at the same time my students do. Wow, the dance party button omg it has been a remarkable addition to my end of the day dismissal. Our students absolutely love them, and they've already made a noticeable positive difference in the classroom.\r\n\r\nThe students' reactions when they first saw the materials were priceless; they immediately wanted to try them. Their smiles during our initial \"exploration time\" were infectious, making it clear they saw these not just as new chairs, but as tools to help them learn and feel more comfortable. An example is a students that we'll call Johnny. Before having the wiggle chairs Johnny had difficulty working independently on a consistent basis. After a few days of using the wiggle chair, he was able to work infependently and when I asked him what the difference was, he explained that the ability to move around while doing his work allowed him to maintain concentration.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, these innovative seating options will be essential during focused work periods, enhancing student concentration and well-being.
