We have the pocket chart up on the stand, the sentence strips are being used along with the Mr. Sketch markers. A different group of students is accessing the magnet letters for learning site words, spelling and phonics. The Post-It pads are coming in so handy for writing our chants, making pictorials, and using them for our vocabulary strategies. \r\n\r\nWith the pocket chart and stand specifically, we are writing cooperation paragraphs using the sentence strips. Students are given a topic sentence and their own sentence strip. They come up with a sentence about the topic, add it to the pocket chart, and then when everyone is ready, we start rearranging the sentences as a group. We read what the students' write every time we rearrange with increases fluency. This is such a fun strategy and I've NEVER had a chart holder for a pocket chart so this is very exciting. \r\n\r\nWe are very focused on writing, boosting the students' skills, and keeping motivation high for the end of the school year. I work with students in small groups. Group after group came into my room and immediately noticed the snacks. Their excitement was contagious, and many of them couldn't believe the snacks were for them.\r\n\r\nHaving snacks available during our lessons has made a real difference. When students are able to have a small snack while working, their focus and energy improve. They are more engaged, ready to participate, and better able to concentrate on their learning.\r\n\r\nYour donation has also helped in another important way. Many of my students quietly ask at the end of the day if they can take a snack home for after school. Being able to say yes, and to send them home with something in their backpacks, means so much to both them and to me. It is comforting to know they have something to eat after they leave school.\r\n\r\nThank you for caring for my students and supporting our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1768499365152,"projectUrl":"project/feeding-minds-one-snack-at-a-time/9727897/","projectTitle":"Feeding Minds One Snack at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Paige","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4578073_orig.jpg?crop=481,481,x0,y67&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1769548477078","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4578073"},{"teacherId":8432937,"projectId":10063263,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom art, crochet, and craft supplies. For many of them, this was their very first pair of brand-new shoes, and their smiles said it all.\r\n\r\nYour support goes far beyond footwear—it sends a powerful message to our children that they are seen, valued, and supported by people who care. The new storage keeps everything organized and ready to use, saving valuable learning time and helping our classroom run more smoothly.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most is having their own pair of comfortable, high-quality headphones.
