The students couldn't wait to open the boxes and see what was inside. The paint spinner instantly became a favorite, they ask to use it almost every day! For many of our students who struggle with fine motor skills or don't yet feel confident in their artistic abilities, the paint spinner has opened up a whole new world of creativity. It allows them to create something visually impressive without needing traditional coloring skills. It's been a powerful tool for showing students that they can be artists, and it's helping them feel proud of their work.\r\n\r\nThe ball throwing game has also made a huge impact. Some of our students have a lot of energy and big emotions, and this activity has become a fun and effective way for them to regulate. They're learning how to recognize when they need a movement break and how to ask for it appropriately. It's also helping them listen to their bodies and understand their needs in a safe, structured way. These resources have not only brought joy and excitement to our classroom but are supporting important social-emotional and self-regulation skills that will benefit our students far beyond this year.","fullyFundedDate":1739565051358,"projectUrl":"project/preschool-gross-motor-skills-regulatio/9069927/","projectTitle":"Preschool Gross Motor Skills & Regulation Strategy","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Thomas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9901646"},{"teacherId":7606635,"projectId":8780063,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation that allowed us to bring the Lovevery Reading Skillset into our classroom! We have been using these materials every day during our reading small group time, and they have quickly become a highlight of our day. The students are highly engaged and eager to participate in each activity. One of our favorite moments so far was during a recent small group session when the children asked if we could stay in reading time even longer because they were having so much fun blending sounds and matching word cards. Watching their excitement and confidence grow has been such a joy!\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students' faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. They couldn't wait to explore the colorful, hands-on resources, and it didn't take long before they were diving right into the activities. Your support gave them a sense of pride and ownership over their learning. As we continue to build on these early reading skills, our next step is to start simple sentence building using the Lovevery sets, helping the students apply their growing phonics knowledge to create and read short sentences. Your donation has completely transformed our learning environment, creating a space that is not only more comfortable but also more engaging and student focused. Our students now have the opportunity to choose seating options that help them learn and focus in ways that work best for them.\r\n\r\nSince introducing the new flexible seating options, we have seen great changes in our classroom. Students seem more motivated to participate in lessons and collaborate with one another while learning and having fun. Whether they're using the \"marshmallow\" stools as they call them or the colorful stools, they are finding ways to stay active and focused while working. It's amazing to witness how this simple change has boosted their confidence and fostered a sense of independence and responsibility in making choices that support their learning.\r\n\r\nYour support has had a lasting impact on our classroom community. By helping create a dynamic and welcoming space, you have empowered our students to take charge of their learning and thrive. On behalf of all of us—students, parents, and staff—thank you for believing in our kids and for your commitment to their success. Your contribution has brought an incredible opportunity for our 4th-grade girls to engage in stories that inspire confidence, resilience, and self-empowerment. These books have already begun to spark meaningful conversations, build connections among our students, and provide them with tools to navigate life's challenges with courage and optimism.\r\n\r\nDuring our book club meetings, I've noticed students light up with excitement as they discuss how the characters overcame obstacles and found their inner strength. These moments are invaluable as they encourage our girls to recognize their own potential and the power of their voices. The lessons of confidence and resilience that they are learning will no doubt carry forward into their lives and beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nYour support has made a lasting impact on our students.
