There was a visible shift in the classroom energy as they realized they were tackling \"big kid\" stories, clutching their books like prized possessions and eagerly flipping to see how many pages they had read. That passion even spilled outside the school day—one student eagerly ran up to me during open house this fall just to share how much he loved his book, proudly adding that his mom was already buying him the rest of the series. These longer stories have unlocked a whole new world of imagination, transforming reading from a daily skill practice into an exciting adventure. Hearing them ask, \"What happens next?\" and practically begging for the sequel proved that a genuine, lifelong love for reading has officially taken root.","fullyFundedDate":1778081671495,"projectUrl":"project/the-great-summer-escape-one-chapter-at/10217599/","projectTitle":"The Great Summer Escape: One Chapter at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Soelter","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8421728"},{"teacherId":10491598,"projectId":10264460,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom. Many students have read them multiple times and are already asking for more books like them. I've been able to find a few at thrift stores, but I may put in another book request in the future.
