These sets have opened up exciting new ways for students to build coordination, focus, and teamwork in PE. We've been using them in relay-style challenges and timed stacking stations where students practice building and taking down cup formations as quickly and smoothly as possible. It was a hit station at Field Day too. \r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the stacking cups, their faces lit up! Many had never tried cup stacking before and were instantly curious. Within minutes, they were racing to see who could complete the stack the fastest and helping one another learn the patterns.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make PE even more exciting and engaging for our students! Reading books that show kids versions of themselves is important in any grade level, but especially in kindergarten - where they are just developing a sense of themselves. \r\n\r\nAdditionally, seeing books about kids that are different than you is also important. It shows that we value everyone and can learn from people whom are different than we are.\r\n\r\nFinally, having books that talk about neurodiversity and how to be kind, help all students be accepting and welcoming to others.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful!","fullyFundedDate":1735522861369,"projectUrl":"project/diversity-books-for-kindergarten/8837569/","projectTitle":"Diversity Books for Kindergarten!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Questad","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp1092293_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1594181620051","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1092293"},{"teacherId":3635678,"projectId":8322370,"letterContent":"My students sit on our beautiful rug every single day.
