Students were so excited to have these books that they were opening them and reading them as soon as I passed them out. We have been able to do some readers theater activities, work on vowel sounds and digraphs, and best of all falling in love with the characters.\r\n\r\nThis impact has reached beyond the classroom as students have shared their excitement at home and many families are incorporating what we are doing in class to their routines at home as well.
